The glory of the Lord will rise on the church of our Lord Jesus Christ!

The glory is going to be much greater than the challenges we are facing!

There will be a glorious outcome worldwide!

God’s word in our mouths is just as good as the word in his mouth!

“…We trust that everyone has adapted somewhat to this unusual situation of our national lockdown that we currently find ourselves in. We want to commend all essential workers for making sure that our country is running in a proper manner.  We commend all doctors and nurses who are in the frontline of this pandemic. May God protect you, and give you great wisdom.

“Although there is an uncertainty of this unsightly enemy, I believe that something good will spring forth out of this pandemic.  The glory of the Lord will arise on the church of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The glory is going to be much greater than the challenges we are facing. There will be a glorious outcome worldwide.

“Much has been said on how we should behave, practising proper social distancing and good hygiene.  We must take heed to stay home safe, as our President, His Excellency Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, has decreed. Godward is upward. I was so blessed to see President Ramaphosa lift up his eyes to the heavens, and ask us to stand in prayer for our nation South Africa.

“The Bible instructs us to put our minds on things above. Paul says in,

Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG)

1-2 So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.

“It is sometimes hard not to get distracted, especially in times like these. We have not been this way before.  I advise you not to watch too much news. I am not saying do not be informed, but limit your time watching news or social media. It will distract you, and may cause fear to enter your heart.  God has given us this time to prepare ourselves for greater things to come. Most of us are in the safety of our homes, with our families, to spend this time wisely and usefully. God wants to strengthen our relationship with Him firstly, having intimacy with Him and living in oneness with Him.

Strengthening ourselves with our immediate families, husbands and wives as well as parents and children.  God is calling the fathers to stand up, and take up the position of priest in their homes.

Isaiah 60: 1-3 (NKJV)

Arise, shine; for your light has come! and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

“This prophecy is addressed to the church of God, and it mentions the fact that the time would come when darkness,  gross darkness, would cover the earth and the people. We are living in a time such as this today. Many have turned their back on God, many are misrepresenting God. The result of this is, great spiritual gloom and darkness.  It is a day such as this when God has called His remnant church to proclaim His message, and has caused light to shine upon the darkness.  The darker the night, the more the light manifests to illuminate it. Jesus said, let your light shine amongst others so that they may see your good deeds and glorify your father in heaven.  We should live as children of light. Our lives should be full of the fruit of light. which is goodness, righteousness and truth.

Proverbs 4:18 (NKJV)

18 But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

“We’ve been given the light to shine forth in this time of darkness.  The light of Jesus should be obvious in us. People and family should see the light manifested in us. Arise and shine, church. God’s word in our mouths is just as good as the word in His mouth…” – Sonja Kleynhans

Ezekiel 33:1-6 (NASB)

And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

“Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, ‘If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman,

and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people,

then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.

5 He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life.

But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman’s hand’.
