Servanthood is who God Is!

To be the greatest, you must be the servant of all!

You were not created to be famous or glorious, but to show forth the glory of God!

“…Sonship incorporates servanthood. Sonship is servanthood. To serve another is the highest calling. Christ took on the form of servanthood; still God, but a servant. Every son of God must have the expression of the eternal nature of God as servant. As a son, you reflect and represent the father and only do what the father does. You cannot be over the house as a son, without being in the house as a servant. As a son, you clothe yourself as a servant. Servanthood does not drive you, but being a son does. Servanthood serves purpose in another. You may be hospitable without having the spirit of a servant. Humility demands servanthood. Do not be proud, and unwilling to perform menial tasks. You have to empty yourself of your own will to be of benefit to others. Servanthood needs to become visible. There must be a working out of servanthood, and it must be seen. You are to possess all things, but not be possessed by all things. The son serves the father, the spirit serves the son, and at the end of the age the son gives the kingdom back to his father. The scriptures emphasise servant – ‘Well done, good and faithful servant!’” – Dr. Ben Kleynhans

Philippians 2:5-8 (NASB)

Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

2 June: The Principle of Faithfulness, part 1, by Dr. Ben Kleynhans: “God cannot act inconsistently with His nature. He is not a man that He should lie.

2 Tim 2:13 (AMP):If we are faithless, He remains faithful [true to His word and His righteous character], for He cannot deny Himself.

9 June: The Principle of Faithfulness, part 2, by Dr. Ben Kleynhans:“Faithfulness equates to righteousness, and unfaithfulness to unrighteousness.”

Luke 16:10-12 (AMP): 10 “He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much. 11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of earthly wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you?

12 And if you have not been faithful in the use of that [earthly wealth] which belongs to another [whether God or man, and of which you are a trustee], who will give you that which is your own?

16 June: The Principle of Faithfulness, part 3, by Dr. Ben Kleynhans:“Faithfulness is to God and not men; we are called to serve God.”

Eph 6:7 (AMP): rendering service with goodwill, as to the Lord, and not [only] to men,

23 June: Understanding God’s Love, by Pastor Charles van Onselen:“The war of this age is for the passions of people’s hearts; where are our passions?”

Isa 58:13-14 (AMP):
“If you turn back your foot from [unnecessary travel on] the Sabbath,
From doing your own pleasure on My holy day,
And call the Sabbath a [spiritual] delight, and the holy day of the Lord honorable,
And honor it, not going your own way
Or engaging in your own pleasure
Or speaking your own [idle] words,
Then you will take pleasure in the Lord,
And I will make you ride on the high places of the earth,
And I will feed you with the [promised] heritage of Jacob your father;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

30 June: Living Stones, by Pastor Andrew Kennedy:“The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God.”

Phil 2:6-7 (AMP): who, although He existed in the form and unchanging essence of God [as One with Him, possessing the fullness of all the divine attributes—the entire nature of deity], did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped or asserted [as if He did not already possess it, or was afraid of losing it]; but emptied Himself [without renouncing or diminishing His deity, but only temporarily giving up the outward expression of divine equality and His rightful dignity] by assuming the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men [He became completely human but was without sin, being fully God and fully man].
